Nominating Committee Needs Your Help!
We need 3 people to be on the PTA Nominating Committee. Not sure how a Nominating Committee works? Details can be found in the attachment. In a nutshell, the Nominating Committee contacts potential candidates to fill next year's PTA board positions (president, vice president, treasurer and secretary). This can be done by phone, email or in-person with the purpose of describing the positions, the responsibilities and expectations, and asking if the person would consider filling the position.
The ideal Nominating Committee member would be... a current PTA member, one who is friendly, outgoing and has connections within Stevenson. The time commitment is only a few hours per week from February - May and ultimately has a great impact on our fantastic Stevenson community.
